  • My Life and Times

I was born in 1939 BC.
    That’s ‘Before Computers’.

Luckily I survived the following events in my life, such as

World War II, The London Blitz, Rationing, and worst of all… Archbishop Temple’s School.

During the mid 1950s I was enjoying Rock ‘n’ Roll and being a first generation teenager, when suddenly, just like Elvis, I found myself in uniform during ‘The Cold War’…and then

I became ‘a family’. Which meant that I sort of missed the ‘swinging sixties’, but still managed to look a complete prat in the 70s, just like everyone else.

During the ‘Thatcher Years’ I lost my hair and a lot of people lost a good deal more. My career fluctuated to say the least as I was demoted, promoted, fired and hired a number of times, but still I managed to stagger on into a welcome retirement and to celebrate 56 years of happy marriage.

“Hands up ! HRH”.

Posted by Big John on September 10, 2013

I see that obnoxious oaf of a prince, ‘Air Miles Andy’, is in the news again for doing what this freeloader does best: being a pompous petulant prat !

It is reported that he ‘made his thoughts plain’ (I bet he did) during a ‘highly-charged confrontation’ with lowly peasant coppers who challenged him in his mum’s back yard, and although reports of what happened vary, a royal lacky said that  .. “He was incredibly, incredibly angry. It was very much a case of guns being pointed at him and “Halt ! who goes there ?”.

It is obvious from this parasite prince’s usual arrogant behaviour that he has never heard of “Noblesse oblige”, so what a pity it was that the officers concerned didn’t do us all a favour by shooting first and …

… asking questions later !   😉

I am still laughing. He really was upset and angry. Seems to me the royal arse could use a kick or two.

He needs to make up his mind whether he wants protection or not!
