Just popped in for Christmas.

By popular demand (‘briggy’ and ‘The Red Baron’) I am leaving my comfy armchair for a short visit to my blog, and after blowing the dust off my keyboard and mouse, I am about to, once again, briefly inflict my grumpy old git observations on anyone who happens to find their way here.
I’ve been away for a year and during that time not a lot seems to have changed in this country nor in the world in general … The bankers are still pocketing our money… We are still being governed by a gang of crooks who live on another planet… ‘Dumbing down’ of everything is continuing at a pace… The polar bears have not disappeared… The Taliban are still around… Religious nutters abound… and… ‘er Maj is still,.. as you would expect of the poor old dear.. Umm.. ”working hard” !
Christmas is almost upon us. Well it seems to have been here since about Halloween judging by the booze and ‘bogof’ adverts and crap shows on TV.
Still, I musn’t get into my “Bah! Humbug!” mode; and so I wish everyone a very .. HAPPY CHRISTMAS .. for it is the season of “Goodwill to all men” … except, of course, to the ’fatcat’ bankers and …
…. those thieving bastards in Parliament !

Huzzah, good to have had a hand in enticing you back. You’re right to a certain extent, not much has changed, though I think the level to which the establishment and the bankers have been taking the piss has sunk to depths we could barely have foreseen 12 months ago, therefore all the more need to redouble efforts in bursting their South Sea Bubble as t’were. And besides, I was beginning to think I might be alone in the cells when they round us all up!

Glad to have you back John, i thought you’d deserted us forever and it was by chance cleaning up the redundancies of my bookmarks in my browser when I dialed you up.

Nice to hear from you John-Ward, although I am not realy ‘back’ as such.
I am breaking in a new computer, so maybe I’ll get the urge to start blogging again one day.
All the best mate …. John

Well John. Are you summoning up your resources for this year’s Christmas post John? I’ll leave out a pie!

Hello Briggy … Blimey is it that time of year already. Don’t bother with the pie I bought mine weeks ago at Sainsbury’s.
